About OLLO

Why we exist

The average adult now spends more than seven hours a day looking at a screen. Our eyes did not evolve for that, and most eye care still waits for a problem before it does anything.

OLLO makes daily eye care for the way people actually live now: clinically-dosed formulas and considered devices, aimed at the things that quietly degrade over years rather than the things that send you to a specialist.

How we formulate

Three rules, applied to everything we make.

  1. The dose has to match the research. An ingredient is not an active dose. If the published work ran at 20mg, then 1mg on a label is a name, not a benefit.
  2. No proprietary blends. Every active gets its own line and its own number. Blends exist to hide dosing.
  3. The form has to absorb. Named, studied materials where they exist. Fat-soluble actives formulated alongside fat. The better mineral salt, not the cheaper one.

The trade-off is a shorter ingredient list than most of our competitors. That is deliberate. Thirty actives at meaningful doses does not fit in a capsule anyone would swallow.

What we will not say

We are not treating, curing, or preventing disease, and we will not imply otherwise to make a sale. What nutrition can do is support the structures involved: the tear film, the macular pigment, the tissue and bone. That is real, worthwhile, and slower than most marketing in this category admits.

You will notice our own timelines talk in weeks and months. That is not hedging. It is how the biology works.

Testing

Manufacturing runs in an FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facility in the USA. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for potency, microbial safety, and heavy metals, against limits stricter than the federal standard. Email us a lot number and we will send you that batch's Certificate of Analysis.
